The West River Soccer Club focuses on developing a love of the game, good sportsmanship, and learning basic soccer skills. All this is done through a fun and age-appropriate activities approach. Volunteer/parent coaches work with the players in a recreational format with players grouped according to their school grade.
All practices and home games are played at the Weston Island soccer fields. The youngest (K-2) meet once a week, grades 3-6 practice twice per week and play games on Saturdays in the John Werner Youth Soccer League. Grades K-2 are coed, while the older teams are single gender if there are enough players in each grade. If number of players is low, we will combine groups.
The success of your program depends on volunteers. Thank you for your help and participation.
